Operator duties include, but are not limited to: operating various pieces of heavy equipment such as excavators, and loaders; loading and unloading materials, equipment; performing general maintenance and inspection of equipment; working outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to, snow, rain and varying temperatures; working at heights with the use of mobile equipment and ladders; frequently required to stand, finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally, the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; works safely near and around highway traffic and noisy operations; ability to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
