- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,830
- Shift: 3x12-hour days (variable starts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Setting: Operating Room (OR), hospital-based
- Call: Weekday/weekend call as needed
Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of anesthesia tech / anesthesia technician experience required
- At least 1 year of travel healthcare or travel Anesthesia Tech experience preferred
- Valid state license required at time of submission
- Certifications required and must be in hand at submission: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ASATT, Cer.A.T., or Cer.A.T.T.
- Epic charting experience preferred (electronic health record experience beneficial)
- Ability to provide accurate 7-year work history verification
- Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- 50-mile travel requirement applies
Core Responsibilities - Assist anesthesia providers during critical events and routine cases in the OR
- Perform anesthesia machine checkouts, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs
- Prepare and set up operating rooms for first cases and turnovers, ensuring equipment readiness
- Support arterial and central venous access procedures and be prepared for emergency airway management sets
- Manage breathing circuits, cell saver devices, rapid infusers, and standard monitoring equipment
- Ensure aseptic technique, sterilization, and disinfection of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Safely transport and position patients to and from the OR, maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Document equipment checks and anesthesia-related procedures; participate in universal protocol and time-out processes
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital safety standards
