ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking a Licensed Electrician / Installation Technician to support the FAA's Radar System Replacement (RSR) program, the largest and most significant radar modernization effort within the National Airspace System (NAS). This role will provide licensed electrical expertise in support of the installation, power integration, grounding, and startup of cooperative, non-cooperative, and integrated surveillance systems at FAA facilities nationwide.
Work location: Remote, travel required. Clearance: Public Trust. US Citizenship to successfully complete a government investigation.
Summary: This position is central to ensuring that all electrical installation activities are performed safely, correctly, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and FAA requirements. The Licensed Electrician will execute and oversee electrical work associated with radar equipment power distribution, grounding and earthing systems, surge protection devices, and coordination with FAA facility power infrastructure. The Engineering / Installation Technician (Licensed Electrician) will work closely with construction managers, system engineers, and installation teams to support successful installation, testing, and acceptance of radar systems under a compressed, nationwide deployment schedule.
