Job Description

OVERVIEW

Maintains accurate records pertaining to associate's records - i.e. timekeeping, PTO/VTO, CAF's, Transfers, etc. This position works within all areas of the operations to support the success and growth of the individual Plants and Peterson Farms.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
• Ensure that associate time keeping records, PTO/VTO, Attendance Records, and Payroll is accurate and being handled correctly, involving signing off on associate hours worked weekly.
• Runs plant specific reports (i.e. zero hours, Overtime, Emergency Contact List, etc.)
• Continue to look for new ways to support the individual plants.
• Maintains communication and a good relationship with each Plant Manager with the support of the individual Plants and the rest of the Operational Support Clerk Team.
• Works closely with the Human Resource Department regarding processes, procedures, policies, and support.
• Assists HR Department with Onboarding, verifying employment eligibility & paperwork, Enrolling Biometrics in Time clock, getting Associates their badges, etc.
• Works with the Benefits Department to facilitate open enrollments.
• Works with the Payroll Department on any issues that may arise or any new implementation (hourly associates).
• Maintain active communication and interaction with the Retention Department to support implementation of Retention procedures and incentives. Ensuring the support is provided by the Operational Support Clerks.
• Maintains knowledge of Peterson Farms' policies in order to respond to associate questions and Supervisor/Manager Requests.
• Provides seamless escalation of associated inquiries to Supervision/Plant Leadership and/or Human Resources for resolution.
