Job Description

Program Specialist Opportunity available in Baltimore, MD. - This is a temporary position with the potential to become a direct hire. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Work with Assistant Director to oversee assigned training programs, including budgets, administration and reporting requirements.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with key representatives at various educational facilities.
• Work closely collaboration with various members to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
• Establish relationships and liaison with contracted educational providers and individual instructors to evaluate and monitor the quality and performance of programs.
• Manage grant program performance including student enrollment, program completion, instructor/vendor performance, curriculum development, and expenditure of funds
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of program records and reports to appropriate departments including preparing statistical reports.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, or equivalent years of work experience required, Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum three (3) years experience in adult education, training or workforce development required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous experience in Educational Pathways, Career Coaching
• Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal and communications skills both oral and written and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends required
