Pelican Leisure Sports is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist us in our Delivery Department. As the #1 Home Resort Products Retailer in the Northeast, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier products and services to our customers. We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.
Job Description:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering products like Spas, Saunas, and Patio Furniture to customers in the local area. This role requires a clean driving record, physical strength, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. You may be assigned additional duties as needed. Previous experience is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily job routes with the Delivery Coordinator.
Ensure accurate and thorough completion of work orders.
Document and communicate any issues discovered at the time of delivery.
Work with customers and service teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Identify and recommend additional products and services to customers.
Complete all paperwork promptly and accurately.
Stay updated on product knowledge through training and resources.
Maintain the delivery vehicle according to scheduled service intervals.
Assist in warehouse/store operations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid PA State driver's license.
No more than one minor driving infraction in the last three years.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic understanding of mechanical diagnosis and repair principles.
Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance.
